Cape Campbell Lighthouse Model

$15.00 NZD

This hand-painted model depicts the Cape Campbell Lighthouse, complete with its iconic black and white stripes.

The cape has contributed to the wrecking of many ships. It was after the wreck of the Alexander in 1858, in which one person was drowned, that Cape Campbell was chosen as a suitable site for a lighthouse. It was another 10 years before one was built however. The light was finally lit on 1 August 1870. The original Cape Campbell lighthouse was replaced by the current day lighthouse in 1905.

  • Hand-painted model of the Cape Campbell Lighthouse
  • Please note: This lighthouse is not suitable for fish tanks as it is hand-painted and the paint will come off in the water.

This model is a perfect gift for a lighthouse fanatic, nautical enthusiast or hobbyist!
