Huia Feather Earrings - Blue

$59.00 NZD

These Huia Feather Earrings by Tania Tupu are inspired by Aotearoa's extinct huia bird, sadly silenced before our generation could hear its song.

A huia feather was traditionally given as a token of friendship and respect and worn by high ranking chiefs symbolising leadership and mana. Upon the feather, Tania's handcrafted earrings also feature a Poutama Porourangi tukutuku design representing the search for knowledge.

  • Handcrafted resin earrings with 3D huia feather and tukutuku design
  • Sterling silver hooks
  • Made in Wellington by Tania Tupu
  • Each earring measures approximately 5cm x 1cm x 0.3cm
  • Presented in gift box
