The Cuba Street Project

$56.00 NZD

The Cuba Street Project provides an intimate look at Wellington’s beloved Cuba Street – the place, the people and the food.

Sisters Beth Brash and Alice Lloyd spent a summer capturing the essence of Cuba Street, visiting all the eateries and quirky shops. While Alice took photographs, Beth researched, interviewed and gathered recipes. The fascinating result is The Cuba Street Project. Now you can cook up your favourite Cuba Street creations at home, from Floridita’s Cheddar and Rocket Scones to Martha’s Pantry Macarons!

Cuba Street is a Wellington icon, and its colour and character have made it a favourite spot for locals and visitors alike. From the late lamented Matterhorn and Mighty Mighty, to Midnight Espresso, Logan Brown and Ombra, the street is filled with places and people worth remembering.
