This delightful mug features Mrs Chippy, the ship's cat on Sir Ernest Shackleton's expedition to Antartica aboard the Endurance. Mrs Chippy gained her name from her owner Harry "Chippy" McNeish, who was a carpenter and shipwright on board the Endurance. You can learn more about Mrs Chippy's life and adventures in the Wellington Museum.
