Our Australia shipping rates are:
- Standard courier delivery for orders $149.99 and under: $35
- Standard courier delivery for orders $150.00 and over: Free
- For orders including items from multiple different locations (Space Place, Wellington Museum, Cable Car Museum, City Gallery Wellington Te Whare Toi, Nōku Te Ao Capital E), the shipping rate will be multiplied accordingly (e.g. if an order includes items from Space Place and Wellington Museum, standard courier delivery will be $35). Reaching our free shipping threshold of $150.00 will remove all shipping costs.
Our online store ships to New Zealand and Australia, however, please note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. We do not accept responsibility for sending parcels that cannot be delivered to due to restrictions in the destination country. Please check your local postage rules to ensure you can receive your parcel.
To determine shipping please begin the checkout process. Shipping costs are automatically determined based on the items in your cart and your delivery address. After entering your address, you can review your order and view the available shipping methods.
You are responsible for all customs duties, tariffs and taxes that apply to your purchase.
The Museums Store Wellington online store team operates during museum opening hours. Please allow up to three business days for your order to be processed.
If you have selected standard courier delivery or tracked postage, once your online order has been processed and collected by our courier, we will issue you with a tracking number so you can monitor your parcel’s journey. Please contact the carrier directly should there be any issues during delivery.
We will advise you by email if there is an expected delay, your order cannot be fulfilled or there are any issues with your order.
All orders are sent with NZ Couriers. Courier delivery should usually take up to 6 business days.
For orders delivering to rural addresses, please allow an extra business day for delivery. Orders placed around public holidays and other busy periods may take longer to be delivered.
