Ian Blackwell grew up on a farm in the Waikato, where his father taught him about the value and versatility of timber. A carpentry and cabinet making apprenticeship led Ian into a career working with wood. Ian Blackwell products are proudly New Zealand made, with all wooden products lovingly created and distributed by a team in Riverton (30 minutes West of Invercargill). Cut using the latest laser technology every product is then assembled and finished by hand.
