Taniko Earrings - Black

The Black Taniko Earrings by Aotearoa brand Nichola are part of a collection inspired by tāniko. These gorgeous matte black earrings feature intricate details and they are finished with silver plated hooks.

Nichola Te Kiri, of dual Māori and Pākeha heritage, was raised in Kirikiriroa (Hamilton), Aotearoa. Her upbringing within two worlds has helped develop her aesthetic for bold and courageous lines, prints and designs. 

Nichola believes it's important for her mahi to tell a story. Every item has a journey from inspiration to creation. It is the sharing of this story which makes the taonga come alive.
